Throughout the 1990s “Chuck Jackson and The All-Stars” ruled the club scene in Toronto. “Mr. C. & The C-Notes” was a scaled down version of that act that played at smaller venues and focused more on blues standards than on the big horn band sound that the All-Stars did.
